Pair of LA Galaxy Academy players named to U.S. U-17 squad for four matches in Costa Rica

CARSON, Calif. – Two LA Galaxy Academy players have been named to the U.S. National Team Under-17 squad for their upcoming matches in Costa Rica later this month.

Kobe Hernandez and Adam Saldana were named to the squad which will participate in an 11-day training camp in San Jose, Costa Rica from Aug. 2-13, which will be highlighted by two matches apiece against Mexico and Costa Rica. Both players are coming off stellar academy campaigns that saw them each named to the Western Conference Academy Best XI

The Americans will first face Mexico on Aug. 6, before taking on hosts, Costa Rica on Aug.
