The LA Galaxy made it official Wednesday, announcing they have signed midfielder Carlos Harvey from Panamanian club Tauro FC. The news was originally reported last week in the Panamanian press.
The 21-year-old returns to the club after spending the last two years on loan from Tauro in the Galaxy organization, in 2019 with LA Galaxy II and last year split between the USL Championship squad and first team, where he made six appearances in MLS play.
“Carlos is a young player who performed well with LA Galaxy II and helped provide depth for the first team last season,” said LA Galaxy General Manager Dennis te Kloese in a team statement.
