The Long Beach, California native was out of a contract following the end of the 2016 season, and it was expected that he would not return to the LA Galaxy.
Gordon first joined the Galaxy in 2004 when he was sent here on loan from the Portland Timbers, who were in the USL A-League at the time. While he only appeared in three matches that season, the 6 foot 3 inch bruising forward spent the six seasons in Southern California, racking up 16 league goals in 96 appearances in the white shirt.
He returned for a second stint two years ago after the San Jose Earthquakes traded him to LA for targeted allocation money.
