Eight former LA Galaxy players and one former head coach have been nominated to ballots for inclusion in the National Soccer Hall of Fame, the U.S. Soccer Federation announced on Monday.
Former LA Galaxy players Chris Armas, Gregg Berhalter, Frankie Hejduk, Eddie Lewis, Chris Klein, Clint Mathis, and Ante Razov were announced as nominees for the 2016 National Soccer Hall of Fame ballot. Also nominated is Southern California native Jimmy Conrad. The players that appear on 66.7 percent ballots will earn election while any nominee that receives less than five percent will be removed from the ballot until they qualify for the veteran quality.
