CARSON, Calif. – Former D.C. United midfielder Miguel Aguilar has joined the LA Galaxy preseason this week with an opportunity to compete for a roster spot.
The 23-year-old’s rights were acquired by the Galaxy in December in a deal that saw Los Angeles send their natural fourth-round selection in the 2018 MLS SuperDraft to D.C. United. Aguilar joined camp earlier this week as a trialist in hopes of earning a place on the team’s roster.
“He’s a player that we’re looking at,” LA Galaxy head coach Curt Onalfo told LA Galaxy Insider. “He has an opportunity to potentially join our team.
