LA Galaxy II (8-13-6, 30 points) earned a 3-1 win over Colorado Springs Switchbacks FC Saturday night at StubHub Center Track & Field Stadium behind a brace from forward Ariel Lassiter and a goal from defender Tomas Hilliard-Arce. The result gives Los Dos eight wins and 30 points on the year during the USL Regular Season.
Switchbacks FC opened the scoring Saturday night when forward Mason Toye scored in the 11th minute of play before LA Galaxy II answered back with a pair of goals in quick succession. Rookie defender Hilliard-Arce, the second overall pick in the 2018 MLS SuperDraft, scored with a header in the 27th minute off of a lofted ball from Geoffrey Acheampong.
