LA Galaxy II (8-8-9, 33 points) drew 2-2 with New Mexico United (8-6-10, 34 points) on Saturday Night in Albuquerque, N.M.
In his first start for LA Galaxy II, Mohammed Kamara brought out his best. Just nine minutes in, Kamara received a ball in the box from Jose Hernandez. Kamara flicked the ball backward over the head of the defender, then popped the ball up to his right foot to set up the volleyed goal.
In the 25th minute, New Mexico was able to counter off a Los Dos free kick, and the score was tied 1-1 at halftime.
