LA Galaxy II (4-6-6, 18 points) fell 4-2 on the road to Reno 1868 FC (6-3-5, 23 points) on Saturday evening in Reno, Nev.
LA Galaxy II opened the scoring early in the match when Reno’s Zach Carroll was called for a handball in the penalty area, which resulted in a Los Dos penalty kick. Frank Lopez stepped up to spot and converted the penalty with a right footed shot to the bottom right corner in the 3rd minute, beating out Reno’s goalkeeper Matt Bersano.
Reno 1868 FC quickly responded to going down, scoring two goals of their own within six minutes of each other thanks to Corey Hertzog and Daniel Musovski.
