LA Galaxy II (4-3-2, 13 points) earned their second consecutive shutout with a 1-0 victory at home against Austin Bold FC (3-3-2, 11 points) in the sides’ first-ever meeting on Saturday.
LA Galaxy II came out strong against Austin Bold FC, testing goalkeeper Diego Restrepo right away in the 1st minute. Frank Lopez capitalized on an Austin Bold defensive blunder to hold one back for Ethan Zubak. Zubak fired a shot on goal which was pushed wide by Restrepo. Los Dos came knocking on the door again in the 16th minute when Brian Iloski hit a rocket at goal, but it was also saved.
