Atlanta United and LA Galaxy look to rebound from Week 20 defeats when they open Week 21 with a star-studded showdown at Mercedes-Benz Stadium Saturday afternoon.
Atlanta United (11-9-3) struck early, but conceded four times in a 12-minute span late in the first half en route to a 4-3 loss to LAFC last Friday at Banc of California Stadium. Mo Adams scored his first MLS goal just two minutes after kickoff and Josef Martinez struck in first-half stoppage time, but the Five Stripes went into the halftime break trailing 4-2. An Eddie Segura own goal in the 51st minute pulled Atlanta within a goal, but that was as close as they'd get.
