Without a doubt, LA Galaxy II’s player of the season is Jack McBean. Even though he did not play the whole season with Los Dos, McBean changed the way the second team played, and without him, they were a different side.
Jack McBean started the season out on the right foot, scoring three goals – including a brace against St. Louis – in the first three matches of the campaign. His form in front of goal skyrocketed from there.
Following the match against the OC Blues, McBean scored in four consecutive games. In the fourth game of that stretch, the Huntington Beach-native netted three times against Colorado Springs to give Los Dos a 3-2 victory.
