MLS announced the All-Star selections on Wednesday, and two LA Galaxy players have been included in the MLS All-Star Team: forward Chicharito and defender Julian Araujo.
The MLS All-Star Team will take on a team of Liga MX All-Stars in the 2021 MLS All-Star Game at Banc of California Stadium in Los Angeles on Aug. 25.
Chicharito was voted into the team from the fan and media vote, after notching 10 goals and an assist in 10 games this season. The Designated Player has come good in his second season with the Galaxy, helping the team shake off their previous malaise and become a comfortable playoff team this season, with aspirations to do even more.
