No matter the competition or what what is in stake, MLS vs. Liga MX matches are always intriguing. On Tuesday, the LA Galaxy host their second exhibition match of the 2016 preseason as they take on Xolos de Tijuana.
Having already played FC Shirak and Toronto FC in a closed-door scrimmage, the Galaxy continue their preparation ahead of their February 24 match against Santos Laguna in the CONCACAF Champions League quarterfinals.
Xolos are fives games into the Liga MX season and currently sit 12th in the table. While consistency has evaded them, led by former Mexico national team manager Miguel Herrera, the team has shown to be far and away a better side than last season.
