LA Galaxy boss Guillermo Barros Schelotto enjoyed a successful MLS managerial debut: His squad lost Romain Alessandrini to a hamstring injury before falling behind but still persevered to pull off a come from behind 2-1 victory over the Chicago Fire, thanks to the help of a 16-year old from East Los.
As the opening round of MLS Power Rankings suggest, the Galaxy still have plenty of work to do on the field, but for now all three points are in the bag.
Not the best performance but the outcome was just right for the Galaxy in Guillermo Barros Schelotto’s MLS coaching debut.
