In anticipation of the 2019 MLS season kicking off this weekend, the LA Galaxy have announced a slate of events around Los Angeles leading up to Saturday’s opener vs. the Chicago Fire.
Monday morning however, the organization have diverted their attention to the newly renamed Dignity Health Sports Park. It had previously been announced a David Beckham statue would be unveiled hours before kick off, but as the club have made public the area in front of the box office is undergoing a complete renovation.
“The Legends Plaza at Dignity Health Sports Park continues our commitment to be the finest soccer-specific stadium in Major League Soccer,” President Chris Klein said in a statement.
