LA Galaxy II’s Ariel Lassiter was selected to the USL Team of the Week for scoring both of Los Dos' goals in the 2-0 season opener victory over Arizona United SC last Saturday.
In the match, Lassiter converted a penalty in the 10th minute and calmly slotted home a nice through ball from Rafael Garcia in the 30th minute to secure the all three points for the home side.
Lassiter, who scored 15 goals for LA Galaxy II in the 2015 season, wasted no time proving he’s the same dominant player the league saw last season.
