CARSON, Calif. -- LA Galaxy II defender Lee Nishanian was named to USL's Team of the Week on Tuesday.
The 24-year-old scored the opener and started 90 minutes in defense as Galaxy II earned a 4-1 win over Portland Timbers 2. Nishanian has made 17 appearances and scored one goal this season.
Also included in USL's Team of the Week are former Galaxy II stalwarts, goalkeeper Cody Laurendi (OKC Energy FC) and forward Chandler Hoffman (Louisville City FC).
