In a recent video with FOX Sports‘ “The Buzzer”, LA Galaxy forward, Gyasi Zardes, was asked why he has a blonde mohawk. He answer was a bit surprising but it was definitely worth knowing. He says that he has a blonde mohawk so that his grandmother could spot him on the field.
Zardes mohawk is very easy to spot out on the pitch and even with his lightning fast speed, you can’t miss him. This was a great idea for him to help out his grandparents and family that are watch his games on television. That was a better answer than I think most were expecting.
