On Wednesday July 24th, the LA Galaxy Foundation hosted a community clinic at Boys & Girls Club, Carson for youth ages ten to 14.
On this warm afternoon, all youth received a LA Galaxy t-shirt and hat to keep cool while participating in soccer programming. LA Galaxy coaches set up three stations where youth practiced passing, shooting and scrimmaging. In addition, LA Galaxy Star Squad held target practice, awarding winners for their aim.
As a bridge to the physical nature of sports, Positive Coaching Alliance (PCA) taught the kids about sportsmanship and the psychological side of soccer.
