Bad luck continues to haunt the LA Galaxy on the injury front.
This afternoon the club confirmed what has been known for days on social media: After tripping over a ball during training, Rolf Feltscher suffered a torn pectoral muscle in his right shoulder, an injury that required surgery.
The Venezeulan international is expected to miss up to four months. In the meantime, the club has been linked with AC Milan fullback Ignazio Abate.
LA Galaxy defender Rolf Feltscher has undergone successful pectoralis major tendon repair to his right shoulder at the Kerlan-Jobe Institute at Cedars-Sinai in Santa Monica, the club announced today.
