On Monday, October 7th, the LA Galaxy Foundation hosted LA Galaxy Champion Project Soccer Day at Dolores Street Elementary School.
All 520 students were outfitted in an LA Galaxy t-shirt to kick off the schoolwide soccer clinic. Students were able to practice their skills at six different technical soccer stations conducted by the LA Galaxy Camps and Clinics coaches. Each grade level rotated through dribbling, passing and shooting stations. Special guests, LA Galaxy Star Squad, provided prizes to students that participated in their shooting activity.
As the clinic wrapped up, the LA Galaxy gifted Dolores Elementary School with twenty Shasta branded soccer balls and two pop-up soccer goals so soccer programming can continue throughout the school year.
