LA Galaxy buy international roster spot from NYCFC

It appears all but certain Dennis te Kloese and the technical staff have a few more signings in the cards.

The LA Galaxy announced this morning they have acquired an international roster spot from New York City Football Club in exchange for $100,000 in General Allocation Money and $75,000 in Targeted Allocation Money.

That’s not peanuts. With the club now in possession of two open slots, you have to imagine both will be used. It’s no secret the Galaxy have been working the past month to bring Costa Rican center back Giancarlo Gonzalez to LA; who else could the Schelotto twins be interested in?
