It's official. The LA Galaxy have acquired veteran keeper Dan Kennedy in a trade with FC Dallas in exchange for a natural second and third round selection in the 2017 MLS SuperDraft.
"Dan is a very good player and proven goalkeeper in our League," said LA Galaxy Head Coach and General Manager Bruce Arena. "He will be a strong addition to our team both on and off the field. We look forward to him joining our roster ahead of the upcoming season."
This will not be Kennedy's first stint in Los Angeles. The Fullerton native was a long time member of rival Chivas USA where he was named the team's player of the year in 2011.
