The LA Galaxy have acquired 24-year-old forward Jack McInerney, the club announced today. McInerney has scored 43 goals in Major League Soccer while playing for the Philadelphia Union, Montreal Impact, Columbus Crew and Portland Timbers. McInerney will join the Galaxy this week for training at StubHub Center and be available for Sunday’s match vs. Seattle Sounders FC (1 p.m. PT, ESPN).
“Jack is a young and experienced player in MLS who has shown that he can score goals in this league,” said LA Galaxy General Manager Pete Vagenas. “He will give our team valuable depth at the forward position throughout the season.
