CARSON, Calif. – The LA Galaxy Academy U-14’s took third place at the 2016 Cayman Airways Invitational U15 Youth Football Cup last weekend.
The Galaxy U-14’s picked up third place after defeating Seattle Sounders FC, 2-1 in the third place game. Galaxy tournament-leading goal scorer Efrain Alvarez and Togo Nakumura found the back of the for the Galaxy against Seattle wrapping up a successful tournament for the U-14’s.

Los Angeles’ third place was the culmination of a productive trip to the Caribbean that saw the Galaxy U-14’s top their group seven points which included wins over Jamaican side Cavalier SC and English club Swindon Town as well as a draw with Orlando City SC.
