LA have lost another invaluable member of the club.
On Christmas Eve, the Galaxy have announced that Brazilian midfielder Juninho has been sold to Club Tijuana of Mexico's Liga MX for an undisclosed fee.
A longtime fan favorite, Juninho joined the Galaxy in 2010 and grew into one of the top defensive midfielders in the league. Jun also had a knack for scoring clutch goals, most memorably vs. the Sounders during the 2014 Western Conference finals when his blast outside the box propelled LA to the MLS Cup final.
"We thank Juninho for his contributions on and off the field during his time here," said LA Galaxy Head Coach and General Manager Bruce Arena.
