CARSON, Calif. – Jelle Van Damme took part in full training with the LA Galaxy on Friday morning.
Nearly two weeks removed from suffering an MCL sprain, Van Damme was back in full gear as the club prepared for this Sunday’s game against Orlando City SC. Van Damme tweeted that he would be out from two to three weeks after suffering the injury on August 27.
The 32-year-old had been involved in limited training earlier this week, but Friday’s action was his first with the entire group. Whether Van Damme will be ready to play on Sunday, however, is still up in the air according to Galaxy head coach Bruce Arena.
