LOS ANGELES – Guillermo Barros Schelotto is coming to the LA Galaxy with high expectations and a plan to bring attacking soccer to Dignity Health Sports Park.
During his stints with Boca Juniors and Lanús, Schelotto’s teams were known for their free-flowing attacking play. Over the last two seasons, in particular, Schelotto was able to implement a fluid offense that helped the team score 112 goals en route to a pair of league titles.
Now as head coach of the Galaxy, Schelotto believes that he can install his open and attacking minded style of play in Los Angeles.
