TAMPA, Fla. - LA Galaxy II forward Augustine Williams has been voted the USL Championship's Player of the Month for September/October after recording seven goals in eight games during the final stretch of the season to complete a career-best regular season and lead the Galaxy II to a second consecutive trip to the USL Championship Playoffs.
In his second season with Los Dos, Williams provided the attacking impetus for the side as it claimed crucial victories over the final five weeks of the regular season. He scored a pair of game-winning goals during his run to lift the Galaxy to key victories against Las Vegas Lights FC and Orange County SC, with the latter coming in the win that sent Los Dos to the postseason on September 30 in the club's penultimate game of the regular season.
