Four vital members of the LA Galaxy will be leaving soon to participate in the Gold Cup.
This morning CONCACAF released the 40-man preliminary rosters ahead of this summer’s regional tournament, and Gregg Berhalter has called up midfielder Sebastian Lletget while center back Giancarlo Gonzalez has been named to the Costa Rican roster. Last week the Mexican Football Federation announced Jonathan dos Santos and Uriel Antuna were named to El Tri’s squad.
Unfortunately the call ups couldn’t have come at a worse time. The Galaxy are currently without Zlatan Ibrahimovic and Romain Alessandrini, four more players are taking off soon and left back Diedie Traore is also injured.
