Ex-LA Galaxy goalkeeper Jaime Penedo is heading to the Copa America Centenario.
The 2014 MLS Cup champion 'keeper was named to Panama's 23-man roster on Monday for this summer's historic tournament which will take place in the United States. A two-time CONCACAF Gold Cup golden glove recipient, Penedo has 107 appearances with his nation and is expected to compete for a starting role for Los Canaleros. Penedo is currently without a club after departing Costa Rican giants Deportivo Saprissa earlier this month.
