Former LA Galaxy defender Omar Gonzalez wins CONCACAF Champions League with Pachuca | INSIDER

CARSON, Calif. – Ex-LA Galaxy defender Omar Gonzalez and Pachuca captured the CONCACAF Champions League title with a victory over Tigres UNAL in the CCL Final.

Gonzalez’s Pachuca shutout the high-powered Tigres defense earning a 1-0 win in Wednesday’s decisive second leg at Estadio Hidalgo to capture the title 2-1 on aggregate. The 28-year-old went the distance in the triumph with Franco Jara scoring the lone tally for the Tuzos to seal their victory.
