LA Galaxy midfielder Emmanuel Boateng has been named June’s Herbalife Nutrition Player of the Month, collecting 48.8% percent of the vote.
Boateng collects his first Herbalife Nutrition Player of the Month after making four starts for an injury-hobbled Galaxy in June. Boateng helped the Galaxy to a 1-1-2 record, and calmly put home the opening goal that sent StubHub Center into a frenzy against Houston on June 17.
Boateng beat out Ashley Cole (20.4%), Jack McBean (19%) and Romain Alessandrini (10.8%) for the win.
