CARSON, Calif. – LA Galaxy Homegrown Player Efrain Alvarez was named to Mexico Under-17 roster for their training camp in Mexico City and Argentina, the Mexican Football Federation announced on Monday.
Alvarez was named by Mexico U-17 head coach Marco Antonio Ruiz to the team’s training camp in Guadalajara. Opponents for the U-17 squad have yet to be confirmed.
The Galaxy forward played in both matches for the Galaxy U-17 at GA Cup, scoring in the team’s defeat to AS Monaco on Sunday.
