LOS ANGELES -- LA Galaxy forward Efrain Alvarez has been named to Mexico's roster for the upcoming U-17 CONCACAF Championships.
Alvarez was named by head coach Marco Antonio Ruiz for the tournament which will run from May 1 to May 16 at IMG Academy in Bradenton, Florida. The competition will serve as the region's qualification tournament for this year's U-17 World Cup in Brazil, with four spots available.
