ORLANDO, Fla – David Bingham put forth one of his finest performances in an LA Galaxy shirt on Friday evening to lift the LA Galaxy to a 1-0 road victory over Orlando City SC and snap the team’s four-game losing skid.
A Jonathan dos Santos screamer from distance was the decisive goal, but it was the Galaxy’s tenacious defense that stole the show as Los Angeles kept the Lions at bay to seal the win. Bingham was brilliant in the victory as he made six saves in a dominant showing.
The goalkeeper wasn’t alone, however, as the Galaxy’s defending was resolute racking up 36 clearances to seal a win that Guillermo Barros Schelotto hopes proves decisive.
