CARSON, Calif. – Dan Kennedy is anticipating being out for around a month as he looks to recover from a partial groin tear suffered in the early stages of the LA Galaxy’s win over D.C. United earlier this month.
The injury occurred in Kennedy’s first kick of the match in the opening minute, but the 33-year-old goalkeeper remained in the game until the 20th minute, when Brian Rowe replaced him. Kennedy initially tried to power through the groin issue, before ultimately realizing that he needed to come off the field.
“It wasn’t ideal, but I’m not going to be out for a long time.
