CARSON, Calif. – LA Galaxy head coach Curt Onalfo told reporters on Friday that defender Robbie Rogers is still on the mend with a nerve issue in his left foot that has prevented him from training this preseason.
Ahead of the Galaxy’s first game of the regular season, Onalfo said that Rogers is still recovering from the injury.
“He’s got a nerve issue in his foot and it’s just a matter of that healing and him getting back on the field,” Onalfo said. “The nerve is one of those things that it’s a difficult thing to predict when that’s ready.
