Former LA Galaxy and USMNT star Cobi Jones — now a TV analyst for Fox Sports and local broadcaster Spectrum Sportsnet — remains a prominent figure in the American soccer community. He was an analyst for this summer’s Copa America, an experience he called “enlightening,” and he has worked on the Galaxy’s local broadcast with Spectrum.
Jones also is working on the Let’s Play initiative by Dr Pepper Snapple Group, a foundation dedicated to getting kids to be more active.
"Kids don't start out by being a soccer player, they start out out with a variety of different sports and that starts by getting outdoors," Jones said, via Omnisport.
