Clement Diop's Senegal earn home draw with Burkina Faso, face return leg Tuesday | INSIDER

Clement Diop was an unused substitute as Senegal played Burkina Faso to a scoreless draw in the two sides 2018 FIFA World Cup qualifier in Dakar on Saturday.

The Lions of Teranga had numerous opportunities to break the deadlock but were unable to get past Burkina Faso’s organized defense. The match became even more fiercely contested as the game wore on with Senegal defender Kalidou Koulibaly sent off in the final moments.

After the match, Senegal finds themselves in second place in Group D with four points from three matches, one point behind first-place Burkina Faso.

The two sides will face off again on Tuesday with the match kicking off at 11 am PT from the Burkinabé capital of Ouagadougou.
