CARSON, Calif. -- Clement Diop's Senegal once again split the spoils with Burkina Faso earning a 2-2 draw in the two sides World Cup qualifier in Ouagadougou.
The LA Galaxy goalkeeper served as an unused substitute for Senegal's 2-2 tie that helped their opponent stay atop of the World Cup qualifying group. Bertrand Traore and an own goal by 'keeper Papa Seydou Ndiaye put the hosts on the board, while Ismaila Sarr and Sadio Mane scored for Senegal.
After the draw, Senegal find themselves two points back of Burkina Faso and Cape Verde Islands. The Lions of Teranga return to action in October when they host the Cape Verde Islands.
