FOXBOROUGH, Mass. -- Chris Pontius delivered another gem for the LA Galaxy on Saturday night.
The Galaxy midfielder scored a brace in Los Angeles' thrilling 3-2 come-from-behind victory over the New England Revolution at Gillette Stadium. Pontius notched the team's opener off a stunning volley and then helped them complete a remarkable comeback in stoppage time with a finish off a dish from Romain Alessandrini.
"Chris Pontius had a very good game tonight. Chris has been a great addition to our club this year. He's a good pro, and he comes out every day and works hard," Galaxy head coach Sigi Schmid told Spectrum SportsNet after the match.
