CARSON, Calif. -- LA Galaxy head coach Bruce Arena told reporters on Friday that 2016 MLS SuperDraft selection Josh Turnley is likely to sign with LA Galaxy II this season.
Turnley has appeared in Galaxy preseason matches since being drafted but has spent most of his time in recent weeks with Los Dos. On Friday, Arena confirmed that Turnley is likely to sign with the Galaxy's USL affiliate.
"He's going to play with Galaxy II." Arena told reporters. "I believe that is the plan."
Arena also commented on the departures of Dan Gargan and Ignacio Maganto, who were waived on Monday.
