CARSON, Calif. – Bruce Arena announced his 27-man roster for the United States’ upcoming three-game stint that includes two crucial World Cup qualifying matches on Sunday.
Former Galaxy center back Omar Gonzalez and ex-Academy player Paul Arriola highlight the roster that will see the USMNT play three games in June. Galaxy and USMNT regulars Jermaine Jones and Gyasi Zardes were not included in the squad.
The United States open their slate at Rio Tinto Stadium where they’ll host Venezuela on June before taking on Trinidad and Tobago at Dick’s Sporting Goods Park five days later in the first of two 2018 FIFA World Cup qualifying matches.
