CARSON, Calif. – Brian Rowe came through in the clutch for the LA Galaxy when they needed him most on Sunday night.
After starting goalkeeper Dan Kennedy was forced to exit in the 20th minute with a muscle injury, Rowe filled the void and made five saves in the Galaxy’s 4-1 win over D.C. United. Although Rowe wasn’t able to get a proper warm up before entering the match, the 27-year-old impressed.
“It’s something that you have to always be prepared for but usually never happens. It just goes back to that mentality that you never know when you’ll be called upon.
