CARSON, Calif. -- LA Galaxy defender A.J. DeLaGarza was named to Guam's 20-man roster for the East Asian Football Championship semifinals in Hong Kong.
DeLaGarza was included in the squad by new Guam manager Darren Sawatzky for the matches against DPR Korea, Hong Kong, and Chinese Taipei. The winner of the tournament will advance to the East Asian Football Championship where they'll face off against Asian giants, Korea Republic, Japan, and China.
Guam opens the tournament on Nov. 6 against host nation Hong Kong at 3 a.m. PT and then will face off with DPR Korea three days at 2 a.
