Zach Lee and Ross Stripling each had solid outings in the Dodgers' 5-2 win over the Giants on Sunday in Scottsdale, continuing the solid first time through the rotation for Los Angeles starting pitchers.
Lee allowed a single to Gregor Blanco to open the game, then Joe Panik reached on a drop by left fielder Carl Crawford, but then retired six straight batters, including one strikeout.
In the second inning, all three outs involved shortstop Kiké Hernandez, who didn't go unnoticed by Lee.
