LOS ANGELES – The Dodgers were so annoying at times during their 7-4 win over the Colorado Rockies on Thursday, they were good.
In the eighth inning, first baseman Adrian Gonzalez fielded a routine ground ball in such a way that the runner on first, D.J. Le Mahieu, appeared to think it was a foul ball. Gonzalez tagged out Lemahieu and stepped on the bag to complete an inning-ending double play.
Moments later, Rockies third baseman Nolan Arenado was ejected for arguing a called third strike. So was Rockies manager Walt Weiss.
