Yasmani Grandal exits after two innings with forearm soreness

PHOENIX -- Dodgers catcher Yasmani Grandal left Monday's game against the Mariners after just two innings, still feeling soreness in his forearm. It is unknown which forearm, mostly because Grandal has had soreness in both forearms this spring.

Grandal opened the second inning with a strikeout swinging on a ball in the dirt and was tagged out by Seattle catcher Steve Clevenger. After the inning Grandal was replaced behind the plate by Austin Barnes.

"Once he said he felt something in his swing, in that forearm, knowing that he had something later in the day I just thought to get him out right then," manager Dave Roberts said.
