Part of the Dodgers home run outburst on Monday against Zack Greinke and the Diamondbacks was Yasmani Grandal, who is making a name for himself among catchers in Dodgers franchise history.
Homering in bunches is nothing new for Grandal, who has homered in at least two consecutive games five times in 2016, as well as three times in 2015.
He has 18 home runs in his last 50 games, hitting .292/.406/.665 since June 30.
But with home runs on Saturday, Sunday and Monday, Grandal is the first Dodgers catcher with home runs in three straight games since Russell Martin in 2007.
